It's akin to the US Rust Belt I suppose. Is it a Hull thing, or an England thing? I know my fair share of British history (ask me about the Dark Ages!), but in the late 20th century I was much too wrapped up in myself to pay attention to what was going on in England, or in my own home town, for that matter. And you're right the dark side is often more interesting.Hull and Hereaboutshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09286772333461551746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3641948057403695439.post-34898632121692766882013-02-05T05:45:37.376+00:002013-02-05T05:45:37.376+00:00These photos make me wonder about the story Hull. ...These photos make me wonder about the story Hull. I don't know the history, but were I to guess I'd say some monumental change in the past, probably the mid-20th century, altered Hull. The war? Something else? A loss of industry? It seems that more than the recent recession has left its mark.

Either that or you are like me, and you prefer to photograph your city's dark side.Petrea Burchardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13043950465171821852noreply@blogger.com
