Driffield once had a proper post office in a fine old building, now it's gone ... actually been gone for ten years or so but I only photographed it the other day, I like my urban decay to mature a bit...
& next door, the amusement arcade, is coming along just fine.
I lover the top photo all monotones except for the bright red post box.Squint and it is a modern work of art -- even a bit Mondrian. Still, it is sad to see the direction a lot of cities are going.
ReplyDeleteI have been inside and it's in peace's the walls and windows are smashed and a few years ago the main section burned down and the roof collapsed
